Up Yonda Farm programs make a great field trip! Since opening in 1997, Up Yonda has become increasingly popular with teachers and home schoolers in the north country and capital region. Our naturalists present environmental education programs to schools from September to June. Programs include activities that encourage student participation.
Available time slots are Monday - Friday from 10AM to 11:30AM and 12PM to 1:30PM. Start times and duration can be modified on request. Programs are held rain or shine and have indoor and outdoor components. We don't schedule rain dates due to demand. If the weather looks bad on the morning of your program, you can call and we will attempt to reschedule.
The cost is $5 per person (including teachers and chaperones). There is a $5 per car parking fee while there is no charge for bus parking. Group size is limited to 50 students per program. Larger groups should schedule additional time slots. Some programs may have a lower limit. School programs may be scheduled in advance by calling 518-644-9767 or by submitting a form.
