Starlab  $4 per person
Come learn about the winter sky in our indoor planetarium. You will learn how to identify some of the major constellations and stars, while hearing Native American and Greek stories of how they were created. This program replaces our previously publicized snowshoe hike on Feb 6th.

Snowshoe/Winter Hike $7 per person with snowshoe rental / $4 without
Experience snowshoeing this winter at Up Yonda Farm during one of our guided hikes. This program includes a brief look at the history and techniques of the sport. Then we will travel the trails looking for signs of animal activity. Commonly seen tracks include: fox, white‑tailed deer, turkey, squirrel, crow, feral cat, and more. Best of all, we will have a fine time playing in the Adirondack outdoors! Come enjoy the property during one of the most beautiful and serene times of the year. The fee includes a snowshoe rental. Adequate snow cover is required for snowshoeing, call 644-9767 for trail conditions.

Winter Survival  $4 per person Learn about the places that people can be stranded: in their home, in their car and in the outdoors, then discover ways to survive in any of these settings. Survival topics and skills taught during this program will include how to dress and pack when going into the wilderness, fire building, shelter building and how to find food and water. This program is recommended for older audiences.

Wood Duck Boxes  $25 per kit  woodworking  (members $17)
If you have water on or around your property, you can attract these colorful waterfowl.  We'll provide some information on the species and tips for mounting wood duck boxes.  All our kits are pre cut and ready to assemble.  Reservations are required.

Soda Bottle Bird Feeders - $12 per kit (members $8)
Come and build a feeder to attract birds to your home this winter. This clever new design is easy and fun to build and uses an empty plastic soda bottle to hold the seed. Reservations are required. Click here to preregister

Snowshoe Rentals  $6 per person (members $4)
Can’t make it to one of our guided snowshoe hikes or just want to explore on your own?  Snowshoes are available to rent just about anytime, conditions permitting. We'll give you a map and send you on your way. Please call 518-644-9767 to be sure of availability.
