Paint With Patrice

Workshop Information

Enjoy a two-hour workshop with instructor Patrice Jarvis-Weber. Paint with Patrice classes are geared for beginners, but open to all ages and artistic abilities. Participants will use acrylic paints on an 8×8 or 8×10 inch stretched canvas and take home a finished painting. All supplies are included in fee.

Pre-registration required. $12 per person in addition to the per vehicle Day Use Fee. Members $7 per person.
Class size limited to 10 participants.

Thursday July 25, 1:00-3:00 “Sailboats at Sunset”

Create your our lake painting with Patrice. While you paint, learn from a Naturalist about some of the aquatic life you may find in Adirondack waters.

Thursday August 29, 1:00-3:00 “Daisy”

Come paint a daisy with its central, buttonlike disk of microscopic flowers encompassed by a ring of raylike petals. A favorite of bees because they offer lots of pollen, you’ll learn about the fascinating lifecycle of honeybee from a Naturalist while you paint.

Saturday October 19, 1:00-3:00
“Northern Saw-whet Owl”

A tiny owl with a catlike face, oversized head, and bright yellow eyes will be a delight to paint. Learn more about this bird of prey from a Naturalist as you paint.

Saturday December 14, 1:00-3:00
“Winter Woods”

Keep warm inside while painting snowy woods. As you paint, enjoy learning how plants and animals adapt to winter living from a Naturalist.

About Patrice

Patrice Jarvis-Weber has worked in and for local art and educational facilities for over 20 years. She has organized and led workshops for adults and children in art centers, libraries, senior centers, and schools including Saratoga Arts, SUNY Adirondack, BOCES, Double H Ranch, and World Awareness Children’s Museum. Patrice aims to instill appreciation of the arts and to encourage everyone to try making art.
