From 3-5pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026 we’ll be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat event (rain or shine).

Dress up in your Halloween best and Trick-or-Treat among decorated vehicles. This event is open to all ages.

Is there a cost for the event?

No. Trunk-or-Treat is a free community event. We will not be collecting our Day Use Fee during the event hours. Thank you to all our volunteers who decorate their vehicles and provide candy and treats to distribute.

Donations are accepted.

Where do I park?

Up Yonda Farm has a large gravel parking lot and parking for the event will begin at 2:00pm. Parking attendants will direct you to a parking spot. There will be no on-street parking. If our parking lot is full when you arrive, you will be directed on how to access overflow parking.

Do I have to arrive right at 3:00pm?

No. The event runs from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Plan to spend about 30 minutes here to visit the trunks.

Can I visit the museum or turtles during Trunk or Treat?

Unfortunately no. Due to the large volumes of people that attend this event, our museum and farmhouse will be closed during the event. Our restroom facilities are located in the building at our parking lot and will be open.

Property rules

Please be aware of the following rules at Up Yonda Farm for your visit:

No pets allowed on the property.
Adult supervision of children is required.
Smoking or vaping activities are prohibited within 50 feet of the entryway of all buildings.
No alcohol.
No campfires, grills, or open flames.
Please do not collect/remove plants, animals, or natural material.
Carrying or physically possessing a firearm or other deadly weapon or dangerous instrument is prohibited by local law.

Trunk Registration Information:

Interested individuals, organizations, and businesses are invited to have a decorated car trunk/vehicle where children can walk by and receive treats. All decorations should be kept kid-friendly. You provide the decorated car trunk and unopened bags of treats, and we’ll provide you with a spot to park and set up your spooktacular design!

Terms and conditions for trunk providers:
• A completed registration form and volunteer waiver (received prior to 10/13) is required to participate in this event
• Event set-up is between 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm.
• Participants must be ready for trunk or treaters by 2:45PM.
• Participants must commit to stay for the duration of the event.
• Participants are responsible for bringing candy to distribute. Stickers, toys, etc are also acceptable.
• Businesses and organizations may display their name and pass out marketing materials.
• We don’t have power outlets nearby, so there will be NO electrical support for your vehicle decorations.
• Vehicle spaces are assigned on registration, requests for spaces may be made in the “additional information” section.
• No alcoholic beverages permitted.
